Business Supporter Terms & Guidelines
By choosing to become a monthly Business Supporter of the Sunshine Care Marketplace, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Social Media Video Highlights: Video highlights included with eligible supporter tiers are not standalone advertisements or dedicated promotional videos for an individual business. Business features will be naturally incorporated into Sunshine Care Marketplace content, such as packing and shipping orders, showcasing newly donated items, marketplace updates, and similar videos.
For example, your business may be thanked or highlighted during a packing video as one of the businesses helping make that month's orders possible along with a tag in the comments to your business page and/or social media. The number of monthly video highlights included with your tier refers to the number of marketplace videos in which your business will be featured or recognized.
2. Values & Sponsorship Approval: My Sunshine Care Marketplace is a values-driven community centered around compassion, sustainability, mutual aid, inclusion, community support, and reducing unnecessary consumerism. Because Business Supporters are publicly promoted and associated with Sunshine Care Marketplace, all requested sponsorships are subject to approval.
I reserve the right to accept, decline, or discontinue support from any business whose practices, messaging, affiliations, or public conduct I determine do not align with the morals, mission, or values of my Sunshine Care Marketplace. This includes businesses that publicly promote or align themselves with Donald Trump, MAGA, or related political movements.
3. Handmade & Made-in-USA Requirement: Business Supporter opportunities are intended to uplift independent makers, small businesses, responsible production, and alternatives to mass consumerism. Participating businesses must offer products that are handmade and/or 100% made in the USA.
Drop-shipping businesses and businesses primarily reselling mass-produced or imported products are not eligible for the Business Supporter program.
Sunshine Care Marketplace reserves the right to review a business and its products before approving or continuing a sponsorship.
4. Refunds: Monthly Business Supporter contributions are generally nonrefundable once a billing period has begun and supporter benefits have started being provided. If Sunshine Care Marketplace chooses to discontinue a Business Supporter's participation before the benefits for an already-paid billing period have been substantially provided, we may provide an appropriate full or partial refund based on the circumstances. Cancellation by a Business Supporter does not ordinarily result in a refund for a billing period that has already begun.
5. Cancel Anytime, No Hidden Fees: Business Supporter memberships are billed monthly and may be canceled at any time. There are no long-term contracts, cancellation fees, or hidden charges. Cancellation will stop future recurring payments. Benefits associated with the sponsorship will end when the applicable paid sponsorship period concludes.
6. Business Cards/Sample Products: Support levels that include business-card placement allow the Business Supporter's cards to be included with outgoing Sunshine Care Marketplace orders along with recognition such as “Order supported by [Business Name].” Business Supporters are responsible for providing and shipping or delivering a sufficient supply of business cards at their own expense. Sunshine Care Marketplace cannot guarantee card placement while the Business Supporter's supply of cards is depleted. Placement will resume once additional cards are received. Business cards must also be appropriate for the general audience and consistent with the values of Sunshine Care Marketplace.
7. Promotional Results: Business Supporter benefits are intended to recognize businesses helping financially support Sunshine Care Marketplace. Participation does not guarantee any particular number of views, impressions, likes, shares, followers, website visits, inquiries, customers, sales, revenue, or other business results. Social-media performance is affected by factors outside the control of Sunshine Care Marketplace, including algorithms, audience behavior, platform policies, and changes to social-media services.
8. Creative Control: Sunshine Care Marketplace retains final creative control over all marketplace content. Business Supporters may provide information about their business, products, mission, website, or social-media accounts, but participation does not give a Business Supporter editorial control over social media content. I will not be required to use scripts, specific wording, photographs, video footage, music, talking points, or other promotional material requested or supplied by a Business Supporter. I will make reasonable efforts to represent participating businesses accurately and positively while maintaining the authentic style and voice of Sunshine Care Marketplace.
9. Permission to Use Business Information & Branding By participating in the Business Supporter program, the business grants Sunshine Care Marketplace permission to use its business name, logo, social-media handle, website information, and promotional materials supplied by the business for the purpose of providing Business Supporter recognition and benefits. The business represents that it has the right to provide and authorize the use of any materials it submits. This permission is limited to activities reasonably connected with the Business Supporter program and Sunshine Care Marketplace content.
11. Governing law: These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, United States.
12. Changes to terms: Sunshine Care Marketplace reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of the site following any changes signifies your acceptance of those changes.
12. Acceptance of these Guidelines: By enrolling and submitting a recurring Business Supporter contribution, the business confirms that it has reviewed and agrees to these Business Supporter Terms & Guidelines and that the information it has provided about its business and products is accurate.
